We value our Great Commission Community Church community and know of its spiritual significance in helping us grow and develop within our walks and emotional well-being. As we continue in our two service/one church model we believe that these events are important in connecting our church body.  We hope that through our events, classes, conferences, and outreach activities that we may become more effective witnesses as we share our lives together. Please note the location of each event but consider that most events are open to those attending either service.

We are offering a course for couples who are preparing for marriage or who have been married for less than one year, to educate, equip and strengthen couples for a healthy, Christ-centered marriage. This four-session class will meet on Sunday afternoons, beginning on January 21.

Especially geared to anyone who is new to church and Christian faith, First Things offers an introduction to topics like how we communicate with God, what the Bible is really about, why churches do things like communion and baptism, and who the Holy Spirit is. The heart of the class is to let people to ask their own questions and participate in discussion about those questions, led by pastors of our church.

This three-week Discipleship Intensive will provide a biblical basis for how to be faithful to Jesus with our finances and to be good stewards of what God has given us, including our wealth, however much or little. You will also learn how to develop financial goals, how to create a budget and actually stick to it, and discuss special topics including saving, spending, giving, and investing in various life stages.
