This four-week class aims to educate, equip, and strengthen couples who are preparing for marriage or have been been married for less than one year for a healthy, fruitful, Christ-centered marriage. We will discuss a Christian understanding of marriage and, from a Biblical perspective, address common challenges including communication, expectations, relationships with in-laws, money, and sex. The class will also include sharing from already-married couples in the church, as well as homework assignments.

Date and Time: (Four 2-hour sessions on Sunday afternoons)

January 14: 3-5pm
January 21: 3-5pm
January 28: 3-5pm
February 4: 3-5pm

Location: We will meet at the church office as a default location, though it’s likely that we’ll meet in someone’s home for one or more of the sessions.

Class Size: 5-8 couples

Fee: $50 per couple

Reading List: The Meaning of Marriage, by Timothy & Kathy Keller; 9 Must-Have Conversations for a Doubt-Free Wedding Day, by Gary Thomas. Please obtain these books and (1) read chapter 1 of The Meaning of Marriage and (2) answer the questions in chapter 1 of 9 Must-Have Conversations before the first meeting.
