March 3 – April 14, 2019Every other Sunday at 1:30 PM

Baptism is a fundamental part of the Christian faith, as the New Testament’s primary symbol and expression of our new life together in Christ. As Paul writes, there is one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism (Eph 4:4-5). Since its beginnings, the church has baptized those who have become disciples of Christ, committed to him, his community, and his cause. GCCC baptizes people the day before Easter, April 20 this year, which culminates a seven-week season of preparation (including four class sessions).

Baptism: Will take place on Saturday, April 20, at 4:00pm.

Class Date & Times:
Sunday, March 3 (1:30-2:45pm)
Sunday, March 17 (1:30-2:45pm)
Sunday, March 31 (1:30-2:45pm)
Sunday, April 14 (1:30-3:00pm)

Sponsors: We also ask that those getting baptized have a sponsor who is a member of the church (e.g., a small group leader, a mentor, or a friend), who can confirm and support your union with Christ. Your sponsor should attend the last session on April 14.

Location: The location of the first meeting will be the DoubleTree in Arlington (after our worship service there), and the location for the other meetings will be determined based on who is in the class.

Registration is Closed.
Please email Pastor Carl Park with any questions.

*If your child or teen is interested in becoming baptized please email Erika Thornton to sign up for the Kids + Youth Baptism Class on April 7 from 2-4pm at Key Bridge Marriott (in the Monroe room).
