Children and Youth:

Kids 3-12: Deeper Life Weekend

All kids who join us at the church retreat (ages 3-5th grade) will get to dive into a whole weekend geared for them. Deeper Life will be a jungle themed VBS where we will discover how Jesus changes us and makes us grow (based on Hosea 14). Kids will explore Jesus through games, STEM, crafts, and lots of fun!

Babies are welcome to stay with their parents in the service or play in the baby play zone (with soft toys and play mats) in the back.

Youth 6th-12th: will love listening to Dr. Walborn (he’s really funny) and then spend time unpacking what they have learned in a small group with Pastor Jonathan. EMU also has rock climbing, sports, trails, and a game room to explore during their down time.

What will the group be like?

In years past, we have seen a good amount of attendees from both Tysons and Arlington service. There is a mix of families, singles, youth, young adults, couples and even visitors from other churches. There will be small groups of 8-12 people to facilitate discussions in smaller settings.

I don’t have a car. Is transportation available?

Yes, if you would like to give or request a ride, we will help coordinate transportation for you.

Can I come for part of the retreat only?

We encourage you to attend the entire retreat to get the most out of your experience. If your schedule is limited, we can accommodate partial attendance, please let us know in advance when you register.
