Thank you for your interest in Great Commission Community Church (GCCC)!  Whether you are driving in from Rockville, taking the metro from Washington D.C. or are local in Arlington or Tysons Corner, we hope this page helps communicate what you can expect when you visit on a Sunday. We look forward to meeting you at one of our services!

Welcome Table

Meet our friendly ushers

Meet our friendly ushers

Your first stop will most likely be at the Welcome table, located right outside in the lobby of the main meeting room.

At the Tysons service, please follow the welcome banners from Door 13 of Marshall High School to the Auditorium lobby where ushers will be waiting to greet you with a name tag and a bulletin.  Visitor cards, prayer request cards, blank paper for sermon notes, tithing envelopes, and materials regarding the Christian & Missionary Alliance are available at the Welcome table.

At the Arlington service, please follow the hotel map to the Washington Ballroom on the main lobby floor. See weekly meeting room location in case there are periodic room changes. You will be given a name tag and a bulletin by one of our ushers. Parking passes (free garage parking for those with newborns and children under one as well as first-time visitors; $5 discounted garage passes for anyone), visitor cards, prayer request cards, blank paper for sermon notes, tithing envelopes, and materials regarding the Christian & Missionary Alliance are available at the Welcome table.

The welcome information is available at both services, so please feel free to take any that you need, and drop off prayer/visitor cards into the offering plate during service or hand them to any member of the Welcome team. We also have a complimentary bi-monthly welcome lunch for newcomers to meet leaders, elders, and the pastors. Please check the church calendar to find the next available newcomers’ welcome lunch at either the Tysons or Arlington service.

If you have children, head to our God’s Garden table to check in your child and for more info about God’s Garden. Click on the following links for specific information about God’s Garden at Tysons and Arlington.

Inclement Weather Announcements

If we need to cancel Sunday morning at both or one of the services (our Tysons service meets at Marshall High school which needs to follow Fairfax County School closing procedures), we will notify attendees of updates through twitter, our facebook page, our weekly mailchimp email newsletter, as well as post it onto our website.  We will try and post the announcement by 7:00am (as applicable). Please sign up for one or more of our social media platforms to receive the most updated announcement information! You can find us on Facebook, twitter or sign up for our GCCC newsletter here.

After the Worship Service

Following the service, there is an informal fellowship time in the worship hall or in the lobby area. Many times, groups of people go out to eat together for lunch.  Be sure to visit our Welcome table to find out more about GCCC and ways to get plugged into our church. Also please feel free to approach the pastors and ushers as they will be more than eager to meet you.
