Sunday, October 22 – Missions Month Kick Off: Peculiar People
Do you stand out? Are people curious about you? Our missions month theme focuses on 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God (KJV: “a peculiar people”), that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” What does it look like to live out this verse in our day to day lives?
Sunday, October 22 – Taste of the Nations Potluck
To help kick off missions month, come fellowship directly following the joint service at our international themed potluck! Saturday, October 28 – Testimony and Tea with Mrs. Vega, 1:30-3:30 PM
Ladies come join our Spain partner Mrs. Vega for a special testimony and tea time! Mrs. V is from Bogota, Colombia and has served in both North Africa and Europe for the last 13 years. She has a degree in Education. Mrs. V will be sharing her testimony and about ministering in Europe. There will also be a time of Q&A. The event will be held at Jes Chang’s place in McLean. Rides are available from the Greensboro metro stop.

Sunday, November 5 – Skype Prayer Breakfast, 10:00-11:30 AM

Registration is now open for the Casa Chirilagua 5k Race on Saturday, November 11, at Cameron Run Regional Park in Alexandria!
Additionally, our ministry partner, Casa Chirilagua, is looking for volunteers to serve on the Casa 5K planning committee and promote 5k registration at each of our church’s services as the race approaches on November 11.
