Child Check In:
When you arrive, head to the God’s Garden check-in table, just inside door 13. To ensure your child’s safety we check every child in the lobby and again in their classroom or small group. When the service is over we only release children when they have been checked out by a parent. If this is your first time at GCCC, be sure and write down your cell number on the check-in sheet so their teacher has your information, in case of an emergency. We will also ask you to fill out a New Family Card so we can get to know your family better.
Where does my child go after check-in?
Start of service:
- PEAPODS: Nursery (0-24mon) in Room 312
- BEANS: Young Toddlers (2-3yrs) in Room F105
Auditorium for family worship to be dismissed to large group in the cafeteria:
- LIL SPROUTS: Older Toddlers (3-4yrs) in Cafeteria
- BIG SPROUTS: Pre-K (4-5yrs) in Cafeteria
- SEEDLINGS: Kindergarten in Cafeteria
- SAPLINGS: 1st and 2nd Grade in Cafeteria
- OAKS: 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade in Cafeteria
Kids will meet their leaders in the lobby and walk with them to the cafeteria. Large group is where we gather together in a big group and have fun worshiping Jesus, dancing, singing, exploring the Bible together, and building community.
After large group we head to different tables in the cafeteria for small group time. Small groups are divided up by ages and there we explore God’s Word together. We recognize that every age level learns and processes information differently so we do different activities and applications for every age group. We also understand that every child learns differently so we work hard to make sure we offer a variety of activities from art to STEM to storytelling to crafts so every child has an opportunity to learn and explore God’s Word.
What if my child needs me during the Service?
If your child needs you during the service, we will text you and ask you to come to their location. To ensure your child’s safety we will ask you to come and change their diaper if needed during the service. Our nursery has a changing area and our Beans class has its own bathroom. Nursing moms are welcome to nurse in the main auditorium or in the nursery, whichever is easiest for your family.
