Welcome to GCCC’s Small Group Ministry!
Jesus doesn’t call us to follow him alone but with one another. We believe that being part of a small group is one of the best ways to do that. This is a space where we’ll be studying the Bible and praying together while living out what it means to be a Christian.
Thank you for your interest in our small groups! Each of our groups runs from September to May, and will focus on our church’s Discipleship Pathway, found here. Whichever group you are interested in, click “Contact here” to send an email to the leaders to find out more information.
From June to August, we will also offer Tiny Groups that focus on our Discipleship Pathway. Please see below for more information.

Tiny Groups
“Tiny groups” aim to be a means by which deeper intentional relationships encourage greater Christlikeness. These will be done in one-to-one to no more than one-to-three groups. The Christian life is more than knowledge about God, but is to be experienced. Tiny Groups encourage doing the journey together, experiencing God in and through them.
This summer, we are focusing on “Being Good Stewards”. As stated in our Discipleship Pathway, “God has entrusted us with spiritual gifts, which are meant to bless others. Utilizing these gifts to love and serve others is an integral part of our discipleship journey.” Everyone has multiple gifts, but choose one you’d like to practice alongside others. All groups will be paired based on shared meeting frequency and specific gifting. For those unsure, there will be a separate session to help you discern. For a list of gifts and descriptions, see here.
There are options to either be a “discipler” or a “disciple”. This is not to say that those discipling have necessarily arrived at a point; they are those who have shown maturity and growth, and they are discipling by bringing others to travel together. We are all being discipled by our Chief Shepherd, Jesus, and by one another. The emphasis of Tiny Groups is mutual discipleship.
They will formally begin on June 1 and end in August, although groups can certainly continue if they’d like. The suggested meeting frequency is bi-weekly, although groups can tailor it to the needs of the group.
Schedule:
5/17 – 8-9pm Zoom Info Session for those discerning gifts and/or those with questions about Tiny Groups
5/18 – Signups close
5/31 – 8-9pm Required Zoom Kickoff Meeting
8/31 – Official end of Tiny Groups
